A native of West Virginia, Ms. Hage moved to the triangle to attend Meredith College. After receiving her Master’s degree in Medicine and Health Sciences from the Duke University Physician Assistant Program, Ms. Hage practiced obstetrics and gynecology from 1993-2001. During this period, Ms. Hage was a lecturer and clinical instructor for PA students. In 2001, Ms. Hage returned to Duke University as a Pfizer Teaching Fellow with the Department of Community and Family Medicine. She then served as the Director of Admissions and the Associate Director of Academic Curriculum at the George Washington University PA Program and is currently an Adjunct Faculty member at GWU School of Medicine. She returned to the triangle in 2004 and has been practicing in family medicine and urgent care settings. She continues to lecture throughout the east coast. Her clinical interests include well-woman and gyn care, adolescent gyn care, endocrine disorders, hypertension, dyslipidemia and vulvar dermatology. Her academic interests include primary care, OB/GYN well-woman topics, medical ethics, medical cultural competency, use of standardized patients in medical education and community outreach programs.
